Door Theory

I have become someone

who leaves doors open

Cupboards’ sharp corners

reaching into head-space

Bathrooms intimacies

ajar and exposed

Keys lodged in a front door

offering everyone a home

I thought I detected

a moral flaw

in such raw abandon

But now each draught and threshold

speaks of immersion

in an uncontainable place.
